On Thursday 9 October, we host Interwoven, a panel event in partnership with Glasgow School of Art and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, featuring creative, business and technology leaders exploring how creativity and business can work hand in hand to inspire innovation and nurture the next generation of talent.
This is a rare opportunity to learn from the experience of a panel who will share how craftmanship, innovation and creativity can inspire any business or organisation, and is a celebration of 25 years of innovation at the GSA’s Centre for Advanced Textiles (CAT).
Hosted by Alison McCrae (Glasgow Chamber of Commerce), the panel will feature:
- Gregor Aikman, Founder & Chief Product Officer, STAC
- Anthony Burns, Chief Operating Officer, ACS Clothing
- Alan Shaw, Centre Manager, CAT, Glasgow School of Art
- Vicky Begg, Industry Coordinator, CAT, Glasgow School of Art
📅 When: Thursday 9 October, 5:30–7:00 PM
📍 Where: Skypark 2
🔗 Book your place: Eventbrite Tickets
The event also tells the story of 25 years of CAT’s pioneering work in digital textile printing — revealing the ideas, collaborations, and innovations that have shaped the Centre. CATALOGUE@Skypark is on display in Skypark 2 until 17 October and features celebrated artists and global brands including Glasgow Commonwealth Games, Timorous Beasties, Grayson Perry, Apple TV+, Mac Mic Group, Garnethill Multicultural Centre and Carson & Co as well as contributions from bursary students, community projects, and local collaborators Helen Ruth Scarves and Ruby Flowers and Flùr.
