Join Green Thinkers for our final lunchtime session on Tuesday 7th May, when we will hear from Swap Market – a new exchange space on the Southside of Glasgow. Swap Market operates on a different kind of stock exchange with an in-store “Swaps and Shares index”. Rather than the financial growth charted by the traditional stock market, they chart the growth of sharing in the local area.
Swap Market provides a space for sharing resources, ideas, knowledge and cultures without the need for money. Recent events have included Climate Conversations for young people; a Community Digital Currency workshop; a clothes swap for Fashion Revolution Week; and Migration stories. Join us for a lunchtime conversation to learn more about Swap Market!
