Save the date for a late afternoon, early evening Skypark Summer Party to celebrate our collaboration with Yardworks and enjoy our customary hospitality with a selection of the coolest street foodies around, live music and a bar. You’ll have the chance to take part in interactive digital art and live painting.
Sounds Great! When is This Party and Where Do I Go?
Join us on Tuesday 18th June between 4-7pm at Skypark 7, the vacant site between Finnieston Street and the Exhibition Centre train station.
What Can I Expect?
This is a private viewing for Skypark businesses and their employees, a chance to see and take part in an innovative arts programme. Led by Yardworks, SWG3’s globally renowned street arts and graffiti programme, PARK XR blends street art and contemporary art at our unique playground, using the shipping containers painted at this year’s Yardworks Festival as large scale canvasses for new artwork and light installations.
Al fresco dining options include street food pizza maestros Doughman’s Land, serving up epic wood-fired creations from the back of their converted horse box; burritos, tacos and nachos courtesy of Alaburrito; delicious Thorntonhall Farmhouse Ice-cream; We Do Bars providing the thirst quenching refreshments and top DJ No Disco In The Desert is on the decks with the live soundtrack for the night.
Full schedule HERE.
PARK XR opens to the public on 14th June and runs consecutive weekends through to 30th June. Artists artists are being commissioned to create murals, light installations, and inventive displays, blurring the lines between street art and contemporary art and enriching the area with even more cultural vibrancy. More information can be found here.
Please confirm your Summer Party attendance by RSVP on our intranet or APP (Android version coming soon).
