FUNDED BIKE MAINTENANCE COURSES

Sustrans are funding 4 Bronze Velotech bike maintenance courses with Firetrail (at £350 per person) and we invite any keen mechanics to take these places.  These courses are free for participants in our workplace engagement program!

It’s important that you already have some knowledge of bike maintenance as it’s a few steps above a beginner’s course. The course is over 2 full days and we recommend that you take a bike with you which is in good working order.

To book – choose your date, and email ibikevolunteering@sustrans.org.uk with the following information:

  • your workplace and role
  • contact number
  • why you’d like to do this training.

If you sign up for a course, it is important that you commit to making the date. The courses are in demand and places are expensive.

Glasgow – Kelvingrove Bowls and Tennis Club function room:
7th and 8th October 2023
15th and 16th January 2024

Edinburgh – Bike Tours Edinburgh, Leith:
18th and 19th November 2023
5th and 6th February 2024
