Skypark Hosts Successful Quiz Fundraiser for Marie Curie

Skypark was the place to be on a Thursday evening after work, as 18 teams gathered on campus for a high-energy Quiz Night in support of Marie Curie. The event brought together office colleagues and campus neighbours for a night of sharp thinking, community connection, and impactful fundraising.

Teams—creatively named The Lunchtime Legends, Need a Headstart, Simple Minds, and The Village Idiots—competed across ten quiz rounds covering general knowledge, pop culture, and more. Hosted by seasoned quizmaster Leigh Milne, the event balanced challenge with entertainment, driving strong team engagement throughout the evening.

Participants were treated to 20-inch pizzas from Civerinos to keep energy levels high, while raffle tickets offered a chance to win standout prizes donated by local businesses. These included a Champagne dinner at One Devonshire Gardens, a whisky tasting at The Clydeside Distillery, Berto’s Brownies, dining vouchers from Pickled Ginger, Joia, Big Licks, and Extra_Ordinary, and a limited-edition Stuart Brown Photography print.

Congratulations to all raffle winners—and to Need a Headstart, who defied their name and claimed the Quizmaster trophy.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of participants, the event raised over £1,600 for Marie Curie. A sincere thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and helped deliver a memorable and successful evening.
