Skypark Retains Onesearch Direct in Glasgow

News Release: 28th October 2020

Skypark, one of Scotland’s premier business locations based in Glasgow, has announced that OneSearch Direct,  a leader in the supply of legal and data products to the UK’s property market, has committed to the business destination for the next 5 years as it outlines its plans to grow.

A Skypark tenant since 2005, OneSearch Direct was acquired by Landmark Information Group, part of Daily Mail and General Trust plc. (DMGT), in 2019.  Due to rapid expansion, OneSearch Direct has agreed a 5-year lease on a new 7,487 sq.ft. office space.

Landmark Information Group brings together technology, data, reports and a specialist team enabling thousands of property transactions every day on behalf of top brands in the sector including Countrywide, WSP Group and Northumbrian Water. The acquisition of OneSearch Direct greatly complements Landmark’s portfolio of property, data and conveyancing businesses.

Elizabeth Jarvis, Managing Director of OneSearch Direct, said: “It’s really positive to announce that we are expanding the business, and to reinforce our commitment to Skypark, Glasgow for the next 5 years. With new investment in technology and business development, we are excited about the next phase of OneSearch Direct’s evolution, and I’m delighted that Skypark will continue to be a part of our growth.

Skypark’s Strategic Lettings Advisor, Angela Higgins of Resonance Capital said: “OneSearch Direct continues to go from strength to strength and we are pleased that they will remain here. Glasgow’s thriving technology sector offers access to a pool of talent, combined with a quality location and a supportive management team, there is plenty of scope to grow at Skypark.”

EYCO represented OneSearch Direct and Ryden represented Skypark on the deal.
