Skypark, one of Scotland’s premier business locations, has announced the donation of gallery space to The Alternative Degree Show Festival 2021. The student-led exhibitions will showcase the work of 144 emerging artists across Glasgow including 22 at Skypark in Fine Art Painting, Print Making and Photography until 13th July.
An exhibition at the Warehouse in Glasgow will include the work of Daisy Iles, the winner of the Armour Prize for Still Life Painting and Printmaking at the School of Fine Art. The exhibition at sites across the Skypark campus includes use of digital TV screens, office floor space and building reception areas, showcasing the work of 22 graduating students, highlighting a new generation of talent that is set to follow in the footsteps of other celebrated artists.
One of the graduating organisers of the Alternative Degree Show Festival, Susan Torrance said: “It’s wonderful to announce our first show in 2 years and the re-emergence of creativity! We’ve had an amazing response to the exhibition, with 90% of years 2020/21 graduates stepping up to present their work. We hope that people will enjoy it and we thank Skypark for supporting our Festival”.

The Alternative Degree Show Festival at Skypark runs from 7 to 13 July. Open daily 12-6pm.
